Please be careful when ordering, check to see that your shaft has a shoulder, most green case hydro turbines do. If so order this part.

Later model green case hydro turbines from about September 2010 were fitted with the shaft used on our new PowerSpout turbine, this has no shoulder. If your shaft does not have a shoulder then order the PowerSpout shaft.

Likewise if your bearings are the same size, both are 6005 bearings, order these.

If the bearing are different sizes then you have the larger front bearing 6205 and rear smaller bearing 6005.

Both are available on this site in either SFK or Chinese. Buy the better SKF brand unless your hydro is running at low power levels. Remember that your shaft has to be loctited into the new bearings and failure to so this will result in shaft damage. Shaft damage can also result if bearing maintenance is neglected. Leading to bearing failure that can also result in shaft damage.

Bearings sold complete with shaft and bearings are loctited ready to install.

If in doubt send us a picture of what you have so we can make sure we send you the correct parts. Hold a shaft and bearing block on the self ready to go. This way stress levels are kept low and a swap over takes 15 minutes to complete. New parts can then be ordered at you leisure with no rush needed.

Send the old parts back and we can refurbish them for you is you wish.
