Adaptor Plate For Chinese Turbines
Chinese wind turbine to Smart Drive generator adaptor plate. This adaptor plate can be used to mount a Smart Drive on to the Chinese 300 Watt wind turbine that we sell and are common around the world. The front casting on the wind turbine will need to be machined to get an accurate spigot location. The 3 holes you use to attach the plate to the front casing and the large hole provides accurate spigot location. The OD of this disc is designed to fit onto the Smart Drive stator with the plastic hub cut out. This makes the Smart Drive very strong and able to handle severe vibrations with the weak plastic hub removed. Using 2 of these discs it is possible to mount 2 Smart Drives back to back as we do in our Smart 1000 wind turbine. Made from 3mm laser cut steel plate zinc plated. Attach to stator by drilling out the 3.5mm holes filled with plastic in the steel stator body and tap M4 metric. Position disc and drill through to mark on plate. Then drill plate and attach with M4 fixings. 3-4 fixings are sufficient.
