These rolls are great for wind and hydro turbine that are running at 48vdc. This wire is a good option for our 48 volt Smart 500 and Smart 800 wind turbines at about 250m distance. For the 24-vdc wind option double the cable for the 250m run. Also a good option for micro hydro in many applications. If you have an application ask us, we need your voltage, distance, power you want to transmit and the loss in the cable you can accept.
500m is a common length for micro hydro systems and this cable run at say 120 vdc through an MX60 dc to dc converter could deliver 250 Watts at 12/24/48 volts to your battery or over 500 Watts at 250m.
This cable is also great for wiring in high power PV panels at shorter distances.
