The ability to step-down a high voltage solar array to a low voltage battery can save you money by reducing the size of wire required and making the installation simpler and faster. The smart multistage recharging process ensures your batteries are recharged efficiently and gently to prolong battery life and achieves the highest possible performance.

You can use this product with our 230/60vdc 60amp transformer/rectifier pack so you can plug in your 230 vac gen-set for backup charging when the sun does not shine.

This ways you get the benefit of a great MPPT solar regulator and the ability to charge from a low cost gen-set (without spiking your house appliances – a common problem with inverter/charger combined units).

We recommend an FLEX max 60, transformer/rectifier pack and a 3kW Invertek inverter as a low cost and rugged solution to your regulation, inverter and backup charging issues.
