These recently introduced 20% stronger magnets that will work with the 60dc series Smart Drive unit. They have been made to counter the fall in performance in changing to an aluminium wound stators. They can however be used with the copper 60dc stator as we use in our wind turbine to get 20% more power at the same rpm. This will increase top end performance of the wind turbine. This explains why we have stopped making the Smart 500 and 800 wind turbine and consolidated on a single Smart 600 at 24 and 48 vdc.

Useful for wind and some lower head hydro applications.
