If you lack the skill and equipment to machine a rough cut bearing holder, then buy a machined version. 

These aluminium/plastic Smart Drive bearing holders are difficult to obtain, as they are not an F&P spare part. If you try to make your own it will be difficult to maintain the close clearance between the stator and rotor. If you have obtained a Smart Drive stator, rotor and shaft but did not obtain a bearing holder then this is the solution you've been looking for.

 We machine both ends and tap for fixings then sleeve with out green trim so it all looks very professional. Your get the part as shown in the picture:
