3 kVA Variable transformer
These units are available in several sizes 2kVA, 3kVA, 10kVA and 15kVA. We convert the 5kW and 10kW units into chargers connected to our standard rectifier cabinet which in turn is connected to your MPPT solar regulator such as an MX60.
We also offer these units for sale to people suitably qualified to work with voltages up to 1000 vac doing development work with generators where voltage conversion is needed. These units are NOT for the DIY person. Not intended to be connected to grid power.
Suitable applications might include correcting the voltage of a single phase remote off grid hydro generator from 230 vac to a lower voltage then rectified for battery charging in situations where the generator cannot be altered or changed directly.
These units can also be used for those wanting to make variable ac/dc workshop power supplies for those qualified and experienced to do so.
