This Pelton rotor is designed to run with 2 or 4 jets at up to 500W per jet. It is made from high quality glass filled nylon material that is both stiff and hard wearing.

The hub is made also from the same glass filled nylon, using 2 identical hubs plates that lock on either side of a keyed Pelton spoon. The Pelton spoons are of a high efficiency design.

Maximum torque applied should not exceed 15Nm, our design torque was 10 Nm.  As a rule of thumb good for up to 1000 Watts at 1000 rpm with 2-opposing jets and up to 2000W at 2000 rpm with 4-opposing jets. This product is typically used in applications from 50W to 2000W.
