The New Zealand Positive Futures Trust is a Taranaki-based charitable trust promoting awareness of sustainable lifestyle choices and the development of technologies leading to energy self-sufficiency and carbon neutrality in New Zealand.
The Trust seeks to support existing businesses and organisations whose products and/or work are compatible with these goals. It currently awards grants of between $1,000 and $5,000 to businesses, community groups and government agencies with specific projects that advance either of our objectives:
- promoting public education, awareness and implementation (or uptake) of sustainable lifestyle choices.
- supporting the development and implementation of technologies and processes leading to New Zealand ’s energy self-sufficiency and carbon neutrality.
Closing dates for receiving grant applications are February 1 and August 1.
